South African rapper Ricky Rick has been reported dead, According to reports we gathered from sources revealed that the award-wining artist committed suicide. He was found by friends hanging.

Riky Rick had a few hours ago made a suspicious tweet on his official tweet. The tweet which was his last tweet read:- “I’ll return a stronger man. This land is still my home.”

Following his father’s death in 2020, the rapper opened up about his depression.

After losing his father, the artist took a sabbatical from live concerts a few years ago to deal with depression, telling fans of his podcast series LAB LIVE that he was suffering from “chronic despair” and was on a “destructive road.”

“I lost my father at a critical juncture in my life. I misplaced him just as I needed his voice. Many individuals may not realize that a father’s voice can never be replaced. It wasn’t like he died suddenly; it had been 18 years of living with your father for a year and then returning to your mother. I enjoy being with my mother, but I can’t imagine living with him for a year. “A youngster should never be left alone with his parents.”

Throughout last he was seen on social media promoting his new song “Sondela“.

Riky Rick was a South African rapper, songwriter, singer, composer, actor, entrepreneur, and fashion designer. His real name was Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, and he was born on July 20, 1987. Cotton Club Records was founded by Makhado and he was the only proprietor.

He was a member of Boyz N Bucks as well.

Ricky’s debut studio album, Family Values (2015), was certified platinum by the South African Recording Industry (RiSA).

In 2014, he became famous after releasing the tune “Nafukwa.” On February 23rd, he passed away.

Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado was born on July 20, 1987, in KwaMashu township in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, and raised there.

His first foray into music came with a session with Bongani Fassie at a recording studio. Riky was motivated to create his own song by Bongani’s presence.

That’s when he released “Barbershop,” his debut single with Da L.E.S.

The release of his popular tune “Nafukwa,” which was a great success, catapulted him to prominence.

He next released “Amantombazane,” which was followed by “Amantombazane (Remix),” which included OkMalumkoolKat, Maggz, Kwesta, Ginger Bread Man, Kid X, Nadia Nakai, and DJ Dimplez, all of whom are South African music artists.

2015-2019: Scooby Snacks EP, Family Values
His debut studio album, Family Values, was released on April 3, 2015, and garnered excellent reviews from music reviewers.

With sales of 50 000 units, the album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA).

His single “Sondela,” which featured Zano and was dedicated to his true love, was released on April 24.

His major breakthrough song, “Boss Zonke,” was released on October 28 and reached number three on the South African Hip Hop Top Ten List. His song “Sidlukotini” was released in June 2016.

The Scooby Snacks EP was issued by Riky Rick and featured only one artist, Frank Casino. “Oh Lord,” “Bandz Over Fans,” and “Family” are among the tunes on the album (featuring Frank Casino).

On September 15, 2017, he released “Buy It Out.” Makhado announced his debut performance, “Cotton Fest,” in November 2018, which he headlined on February 2, 2019.

On July 2, 2021, he and Frank Casino released the single “Forever.”

Ricky will be missed by all his fans, friends and loved ones.
