Reports that filtered in the early hours of today have it that Zamanguni Gumede, the mother of the Late legendary Kwaito singer Mampintsha has passed away.
Zamanguni Gumede passed away last night in Westworth Hospital after suffering a stroke.
She died at the age of 64, her sickness got worse after her son’s passing.
ZiMoja had reported that Gumede’s health took a bad turn since the death of her son and that badly affected her speech and movement.
Mampintsha’s sister Pinky Gumede told the publication her mother had liver complications since 2016 and the death of her son had taken its toll.
“She is not taking Mandla’s death well. She started feeling ill before him but got worse when he was first admitted to the hospital,” she said.
